Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The blue refers to the unit’s operating location in Alaskan arctic terrain and its commitment to the 3d Maintenance Group. The three deltas placed between the white and light blue background signify the unit’s continuous readiness to support a variety of aircraft. The tools and ring gear symbolize this unit’s commitment to quality maintenance operations.
